DBF Q&A #8

Q: I understand from the rules and the FAQs that the drop points will be
located before the 'starting-line' however since we are starting to practice
the ground phase I was wondering if you can provide a more detailed location
of each start box with respect to the start line.

A: We really haven't finalized it yet.  The Webster runways are about 200 feet wide, so we will have plenty of room to work.  Both drop locations will probably be "before" the start line, and will be between 100 and 150 feet apart.  They won't be so far apart that we can't see them easily from the judges positions.

For anything much more precise than that you'll have to wait until the contest.
