Q: During the fire-fight mission, when can we fill the water?  Is the taxi-time included in the 10 min time frame?

A: Here is a sample time line for the mission
.
1) Aircraft is brought to the starting line and positioned.
2) Flight line Judge calls "Time Start"
3) Pit crew fills aircraft with water load for first sortie.  Aircraft propulsion system is "armed" when the loading is complete.
4) Aircraft takes off
5) As aircraft passes the upwind turn pylon the turn judge raises his flag
6) Pilot executes 180* turn
7) As aircraft passes the upwind turn pylon (now on downwind) the turn judge lowers his flag
8) Pilot calls "Dump On" and begins water release
9) Pilot executes opposite direction 360* turn
10) Pilot calls "Dump Off" and terminates water release
11) As aircraft passes the downwind turn pylon the turn judge raises his flag
12) Pilot executes 180* turn
13) As aircraft passes the downwind turn pylon (now on upwind) the turn judge lowers his flag
14) Pilot lands aircraft and rolls out or taxis to the starting line.
15) Aircraft propulsion system is "disarmed".  Pit crew fills aircraft with water load for second sortie.  Aircraft propulsion system is "armed" when loading is complete.
16) Aircraft takes off
17) As aircraft passes the upwind turn pylon the turn judge raises his flag
18) Pilot executes 180* turn
19) As aircraft passes the upwind turn pylon (now on downwind) the turn judge lowers his flag
20) Pilot calls "Dump On" and begins water release
21) Pilot executes opposite direction 360* turn
22) Pilot calls "Dump Off" and terminates water release
23) As aircraft passes the downwind turn pylon the turn judge raises his flag
24) Pilot executes 180* turn
25) As aircraft passes the downwind turn pylon (now on upwind) the turn judge lowers his flag
26) Pilot lands aircraft and rolls out or taxis to the starting line
27) Flight line Judge stops time when the aircraft stops moving and is past the start line.
